Seein TDKR on friday
I think I know like one of the biggest spoilers cos I looked at set photos when they first filmed
but im excited Batman 1
I bought and beat Arkham City
. I think Asylum
was just a tighter game; City
is just super indulgent in a lot of ways. A lot of stuff feels like it's here because 'it'd be cool', which leads to the plot not making a lot of sense. It's also completely po-faced for the duration which is honestly draining.
Mechanically I like it still, and I appreciate the sheer amount of content they packed into the thing. That being said some of the challenges they add are tedious as fuuuuuucck - like piloting a remote controlled batarang through an air vent.Batman 2

Personally I think Smith's a damn good raconteur but even if you're of the type that can't stomach him I'd recommend just to listen to his guests talk real deep about batman. The first week he had Paul Dini on who straight up started crying talking about some of his scripts for the animated series. I'm currently half way through his interview with Mark Hamill where the guy basically just nerds out about old cartoons for about 3 hours. It's my thing i guess...
