Was just about to bump tha topic
Seein TDKR on friday
I think I know like one of the biggest spoilers cos I looked at set photos when they first filmed
but im excited
Batman 1I bought and beat
Arkham City. I think
Asylum was just a tighter game;
City is just super indulgent in a lot of ways. A lot of stuff feels like it's here because 'it'd be cool', which leads to the plot not making a lot of sense. It's also completely po-faced for the duration which is honestly draining.
Mechanically I like it still, and I appreciate the sheer amount of content they packed into the thing. That being said some of the challenges they add are tedious as fuuuuuucck - like piloting a remote controlled batarang through an air vent.
Batman 2Read
The Black Mirror by Scott Snyder with art by Jock and Francesco Francavilla. The art in this is super good, particularly Francavilla:

Dude does his own colours as well.
It's the most modern batman stuff I've read actually, picking up after that recent 'Batman is dead' stuff - Dick Grayson aka Robin #1 is Batman. Great book.
Batman 3 Kevin Smith started a new podcast series recently called 'Fatman on Batman' where he interviews people about batman. Personally I think Smith's a damn good raconteur but even if you're of the type that can't stomach him I'd recommend just to listen to his guests talk real deep about batman. The first week he had Paul Dini on who straight up started crying talking about some of his scripts for the animated series. I'm currently half way through his interview with Mark Hamill where the guy basically just nerds out about old cartoons for about 3 hours. It's my thing i guess...
