In an attempt to Get Better and Improve, I want to work on making pixel art for at least an hour everyday.

I really appreciate any and all feedback.

Day 1

Ninja - Inspired by Kakashi from Naruto (see last coloring)

Dragon Quest Slime

Mugen Inspired Portrait

Day 2

Been working on a character called Erina today. She's definitely inspired by Kyra from Phantasy Star IV.

Just started getting the ball rolling on the walking animation. Kramlack has been helping a ton with feedback.

Worked on the walking animation for a little bit.

Also made some religious slimes.

Made a low-res text box. Gotta work on making this actually the right size for something in-game.

@Day2 Great color choices!  I don't like the red palette so much I think there needs to be more contrast between the colors.

Thanks! Yeah, that starting palette is rough, but it works for me visually when I get things going. Maybe one day soon I will switch it up to something with more contrast!

Finished the walking cycle for Erina. Here is all of the parts and then them all together.

An Idol that I will be using as a temporary icon for a new project.

It feels like the shoulders should be lower on the sideview frames

You're totally right, thanks. I need to adjust the shoulder pixels a bit too when I lower them.

Day 3

Really busy day. Pumped out a simple sword before calling it a day.
