Cool game, it was fun and looked good most of the time.  The controls reminded me of the games it was inspired by, but you also added in a lot of cool stuff to differentiate it from them so it felt pretty original (especially in the later game).  I really liked the levels with the spiked mines that flew after you.

Only problems were that sticking to walls seemed a bit weird at some times, and I didn't like some of the enemy jumping sections.

Overall, I think it was good.

boy that roll is flimsy, great thing you made the puzzles simple enough that you don't need it often. gotten through every single level. though I wonder if that swinging mechanic will ever be added in?

Pretty gfx, cool mechanics, great music. 5+ game, the only thing that bothered me is that wall-jumps kinda don't feel right, in contrary to SMB for example, but can't give u any details

anyway, gz at releasing this game!   Hand Thumbs Up Left Wink

i'd give it 5/5, but wall jumps and sliding behaviour is kind of weird, feels off and I had to quit somewhere in world 2 because of that

4/5
music is stunning and i absolutely love it

I really like the dynamics of the game, the movement feels very smooth. Also the pace is great, very actiony. Makes you feel like a ninja. I managed to get to level 11, it gets quite funky there.

Oh yeah and great pick with the music.  Hand Clap Ninja

Edit: ah, got to world 2! Quite liking it so far.

Thanks, i think the game starts to get better and seperate itself from SMB a bit more the further into it you get, probably because i made the worlds in chronological order so i got better at making them!

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it's much appreciated!

I enjoyed it, though the level with the stairs annoyed me so much. I was trying to dodge the balls but ended up wall-jumping into them. I am currently on level 28, it's pretty solid so far. It needs juice though, flashing lights, particles, collectibles, lights, etc.

Good work! Grin

Wow, loved this game.  I got gold skulls on every single level!  (Why do devs never give prizes to insane people like me  Sad)

Everything was perfect but the one thing that bugged me was that the wall sliding seemed a bit too "clingy" for a game based on speed.  Getting stuck to a wall accidentally or in the wrong spot would ruin your time.

Awesome, man! I've been following you (not very closely but I check your site every once in a while) since Bat Country, glad to see Skull Face made it through development.

Finished about half the levels so far, some pretty interesting puzzles in here.

They choose the games that receive achievements... luckily they chose SkullFace! Expect Kong badges very soon Smiley

Thanks a lot for all the great feedback guys, it really means a lot after the long isolation period of development. I put together a small making of video today showing the development of the game:
