What indie game could the Ouya's killer app be?

What game - that isn't already on a console you own - would make you say, 'Yeah, I want to play that on my TV without having to drag my PC over and hook it up. I'll spend the $100 for the Ouya.'

I think I'll get an OUYA regardless, but interestingly enough, Hawken looks like it could be ported to the OUYA and apparently will only be out for PC initially. That would draw in a lot of people.

B...but... I already output my PC to my TV and use a controller, and Joy2Key if the controller isn't already supported. So the answer is: none. I dreamed up a similar console 6 years ago before I had an HDTV that I could input from my PC with, but now it's no longer necessary.

i don't really buy consoles for games, i buy them for libraries. no one individual game would make me buy a console, only if it had a large variety of games that i want to play would i buy one, since no one game is worth the price of a console to me

also, i don't have to "drag" my pc anywhere to hook it up to the tv. i just get a 10 foot hdmi cable and use that. no dragging required, the wire more than reaches from their normal positions. if that didn't reach there are longer hdmi wires available. i don't really do that tho cuz my two monitors are actually bigger than my tv (when combined, i mean), and higher resolution to boot

I would like to see revamps of the snes-era on there. 2D-gaming how it is supposed to be, since the hardware-power is now there.

I would only buy a console if it was nothing but pre-Playstation era emulators and pre-packed with every ROM available.

now that we have the power, it's time for what indie game developers have wanted to do, but had not the courage to try: snes games.

Doesn't have to be good in your opinion(I don't like it either) for it to be a good game.

Also I was mistaken about portal, must have been thinking of another game.
