Hello everyone!  I've completed my most recent personal project, Sky Garden.  The game takes design influences from puzzle games like Sokoban and Adventures of Lolo, and art influences from Minecraft and Kingdom Rush.

UPDATE: Now on Kongregate!  Thanks to everyone for all the feedback! I made some final updates based on some good comments from everyone, such as clarity around the worlds and levels, tweaking the order and mechanics, and more.

Thanks and I hope you enjoy!

I got up to "Maybe you can go around".  It's a cool concept, but I think you should introduce some of the later gameplay elements sooner.  It takes too long for things to get really interesting.  I see there's fire tiles there, I didn't even get that far.

Good feedback, thanks!  I'll consider moving some of the new elements up higher.

I think it should have more feedback in terms of your total progress. Right now you don't really know how many levels you finished or how many levels you have to go. Maybe think about breaking the levels up into sets and displaying how far along you are in the current set.

Yeah, another person has commented on that, it has "levels", but lacks "worlds".  So you kind of get lost in your progress.

Thanks for playing!

Got to "The glacier moves along" before I got bored. It was fun and had nice relaxing music but got a little repetitive after a while. Worlds, or some other way to track progress would help.

I liked it. The game was simple but pleasant. The core mechanic worked well but I never felt totally stumped (ha!). It seemed like a little trial and error was usually enough to get through the level. After clearing a level I felt a little smart, but maybe you could work to make the player feel even better about his accomplishment?

Thanks! Maybe music is one of the ways I can indicate what "world" you are on.

Nice little game, quite refreshing.
Like other already said, I think a level counter or something could help to figure out progression. Also some levels are maybe a bit too simple...

Oh, BTW, is that voluntary to allow player to modify final sentence?

I enjoyed this! A level counter would be a nice addition, but not strictly necessary since you can estimate how far you are to the end by the daylight in the background. No real complaints; nothing stopped me from wanting to play to the end, and I appreciate that the levels got harder. (though never as hard as some of those Adventures of Lolo puzzles)

I enjoyed playing this. The trees-into-water thing was an interesting mechanic. Perhaps, if you were to expand this out into different-themed "worlds", you could work with other naturally occurring inanimate objects, or maybe even just different kinds of trees.

Thanks!  That's an interesting idea I hadn't thought of, more cohesion between worlds and new mechanics - makes me think of old Mario World.

The game is now up on Kong with updates since the last version, thanks to everyone for your feedback!
