that's bullshit. i was vegetarian for a long time (like 5 years? i don't know), i've seen those gore propaganda videos, and i can eat meat just fine.

it doesn't look like a dismembered human, it looks like a steak.

That's not a gore propaganda video, it's a documentary about how human beings treat animals, not just for food, but in general. If you think it's "fine" then I think you're not.

Sure, I can imagine a cooked & seasoned steak or some fried chicken as being "good" and appropriate subject material for this thread, but raw slabs of dead animal flesh are raw slabs of dead animal flesh; even before I was a vegetarian that never looked, smelled, or tasted appetizing. Don't kid yourself.

Though I think in general this thread hasn't really hit the mark on appealing to my senses in terms of food. Perhaps I should lead by example?
