Hey everyone, I'm the one and only Matt Kap, and I've been working on a retro-styled exploration platformer called Castle In The Darkness! Please check out the links below:

(official website) http://castleinthedarkness.mattkap.net/
(first trailer)

The website will have a lot more content in the future, I just wanted to make sure it's up and working.  Anyway, please, if you like what you see, follow on twitter or re-post/re-tweet/re-whatever and help spread the word! I'm aiming for a 2012 release on PC/iOS/maybe more! Thanks a lot, and I hope you like it!

Yes please! I'm liking everything about this game so far  Crazy
Art style, music, gameplay. And I haven't even played the game yet! Reminding me of Zelda 2

Looks like an exciting game! ...definitely one that I can see myself playing to completion and trying to find all the goodies.  I'm following this, following you on twitter, and would be happy to tweet the trailer.  Keep up the good work.

That's a fantastic game. I play through it every 5 years or so.

Nice. Will there be a soundtrack edition or something?

I'd be totally up for that.

The soundtrack will probably be a free download that will come with the game. If it's in high enough demand, maybe I'll release a special soundtrack with live instruments, but that could be pretty pricey, so we'll see how the game does Tongue

Also, here's a new trailer:

The prologue will be out on Friday Smiley.

It's essentially a demo, but I'm calling it "Prologue" because it doesn't feature any of the areas, music, items or enemies that are featured in the full game.

But yeah, it'll be available on Friday Grin!

impressive. Very difficult, but impressive. I suggest to add the intro to the game, because if not I feel like "what I am doing here".

Nice control, music and level design :D
