Hey there guys,

Thought I may as well make a post here and share what we are working on in the last couple months.

We invite you to join Joe and Jim, on their wild and crazy adventure, as they horizontally scroll junkyards, cities, streets, allies and sewers. As they, collect pigeons, avoid obstacles, take on bad guys and fight the big bosses all in an effort to rescue our damsel in distress, Tavy!

It looks like if Super Mario Bros was made with the aesthetics of Earthworm Jim.

Unfortunately, it looks pretty simple. The mechanics so far just seem to be run, jump and stomp. It could hold up with just that if the levels are extremely varied with respect to graphics.

The art is lovely, though.

Thanks for your feedback SirNiko. What you are looking at is very early alpha so obviously there is yet a lot missing. We will have various enemies with different types of behaviors, weather effects, power ups, different worlds (stages), various boss battles etc. All of that is in the works and I am happy to hear that you're liking the visuals so far We are putting a lot of effort into details and are extremely proud of what we are producing. I was amazed at how much hype/press you guys got for what amounted to a screenshot or two when you first started working on this. I should hire you to promote my game! I've been a fan of Bjorn's work since back in college when I spent a lot of time on conceptart.org. Looking forward to the finished product!

The graphics and artwork is real unique and creative. Liking the retro feel and animation.

@Chris Pavia - Thank you very much! Well Bjorn is certainly a great artist and respected as such. By now he has worked on so many AAA titles that I lost count and track. He is not only  a great artist but also a kind and humble person. Love that about him.

@Felipezille - I think once you play it it will be quite different from what you see in the video

This game looks to just ooze out style from every single pore on its skin. The allusions to the Super Mario Brothers are... classy?

While the graphical style is nice, the trailer showed absolutely nothing interesting.

What are some of the key gameplay features?

Also, I hope more animation will be added, because it was incredibly stiff right now.

@eobet -  Have you read anything I wrote above in a previous post? I suggest you do The trailer showed the very basics and has since then advanced with better AI and more enemies and additional mechanics. We are working on all ends. Can't please them all. You may not like the animations while others do. We are aware of that and that's OK. No hard feelings.
