Stumbled onto this via the Youtubes. Looks pretty nifty, though some might like a gander. Their website's on the youtubes clip as well, though there isn't much more there yet. A duo from Montreal.

Wow, this looks great, I'd love if they went the minecraft route and let you buy the game early and play with beta/alpha builds.

This kickstarter project seems to get more and more money by the hour. It even got more $20k in one hour one time.

The idea is nice, reminds df a lot. And the presentation is excellent. But they only have a simple prototype, and I am not sure the whole video is in-game and not just cg.
It just shows that there is a great extreme in what people are willing to throw their money at.
But anyway, it looks like it could be a sweet game.
