A FPS game where the player navigates via a Dance Pad, and arms/shoots via a Guitar Controller. May require Kinect (and a miracle!) for direct aiming.

XD lol
That just reminds me how long it's been since I've played Rock Band. I gotta get back into that, now.

Always wanted to something where the player character travels between dreams. He gets more power/focus when deep in sleep, but when in light sleep he has the power to escape the dreamworld and heal or whatever.
Kind of reminds me of this, not entirely of course. I've always loved the idea of using dreams as gameplay. A great example of "thinking outside the box" in game design (in my opinion).

A platformer with mouse controls for shooting. It's just so awkward to play.

Kinda like Dark Castle? (Which was indeed terribly awkward to play)

Not really. Once you get used to it, it plays kinda like a side view FPS. Unless the movement keys are placed weird...

Anything 3d really. A platformer with mouse controls for shooting. It's just so awkward to play.
But there are... so many run n' gun flash games like that. Not all of them involve platforming but still.

You know the kind of game where the character switches from walking backward to walking forward all the time, regardless of the direction you are actually moving in, because you aim at opponents with your mouse all over the screen? I don't really like that. It even looks ridiculous. I can't foresee myself making one of those. I just prefer keyboard-only platformers.

You're right, that is kind of silly. Hmm, now I want to experiment to see if that kind of thing can be avoided.

From experience, I find that stuff like this often turn into wargames.

a bee simulator
Do you mean the same as me when i say an ants simulator? Strategy? Not an adventure game? Making the colony, getting food, attacking others ants?
