Hey guys,

i know there's currently a thread relating to marketing apps but i was wondering if anyone has any advice more specifically for marketing and promoting educational apps or games.

You should target parents, because no sane kid would buy an educational game Smiley This also probably means no mobile, since on mobile kids buy directly without parent's "help". I think Bigfish could be good maybe?

Very true, i've found that most of my apps purchases have come from institutes (bulk). I have two iPad apps that are aimed at younger kids (4+) so as you mentioned the best bet is to aim for the parents, but so far i've had little success with individual purchases.

My question is would it be best to continue pushing individual sales and aim more at parents or should i focus more on educational institutes and selling in bulk?
