I'm very sorry to announce BIGJam's not going to happen this year.

I've been looking forward to holding it again this year, to meet friends new and old, see great ideas develop into actual games, have great discussions and all the other good stuff that surrounds a four day game jam.
Another huge plan in my life has worked out and this makes it impossible for me to have the Berlin Indie Game Jam happen this year. As until very recently it wasn't certain whether it'd pan out well, I've kept on keeping this year's BIGJam alive, without giving out a date or details, until I'd know. It seemed the best solution, but it also wasn't quite ideal.

I know some of you have been looking forward to this year's edition, as I did, and I'm very sorry to disappoint you. I hope no one has his travel plans inconvenienced because of this. Hopefully the recent No More Sweden jam or the upcoming TIGJam UK satisfy your jamming needs for this summer.

It'll be alright. This year it's been complicated anyway, what with gamescom, pax and all the other game related party places. Let's all meet again next year.
