just made a small "trailer" of my game. I just want general feedback. The trailer doesn't show a lot of gameplay, and I mostly did it for fun.
What do you think of these kind of trailers? Besides of enjoying doing them, do they also have value? How can I make it better?

What engine is this? Actually, what exactly is this game? The trailer didn't seem to have much to communicate; it looks like a Doom clone in the very early stages of development. It didn't seem as if the enemy was reacting to the player's actions, which would be frustrating to me if I was the one controlling the game.

If you make a trailer this early in the development process, it would be best to either show off and explain some of the fundamental tech behind the eye-candy or exhibit some of the current conceptual work. Otherwise, I think you should at least wait until you have some kind of vertical slice of the final product before showing it off in a trailer.

You would probably be better off doing "here's my current work" videos rather than this trailer. The dramatic elements as presented here were actually a turn off. I'd rather hear you explain your tech/designs and what you want to do with the game and what you recently got working and so on.
