the dalek episode was pretty okay! the new companion (?) lady seemed way too eccentric and delightfully quirky and so smart and witty and oh my~~~ but the twist at the end helped to fix that a bit. amy's weird drunken scene was really unintentionally hilarious. and yeah, it would've been way cooler if the asylum was full of crazy dalek war criminals who all have crazy personalities and shit like that but instead they were just broken and shitty. ALSO BTW THE DALEKS DIDNT SEEM TO CONCERNED ABOUT NUKING THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET AT THE END SERIOUSLY IF THEY WERE FINE WITH THAT WHY DID THEY BOTHER WITH THE ASYLUM IN THE FIRST PLACE

They wanted to preserve what they considered perfection, but when they found out the things in the asylum could get out they panicked.

This weeks episode was good I guess. I don't care much for Matt Smith honestly. Eccleston should just come back Sad

Tennant has always been my favourite.

I'm not a big fan of Dr Who, but I've watched most of the new (2005+) episodes. After watching a few episodes with matt smith, then going back to Tennant, it's obvious how it was almost impossible to pick up the role after tennant. This guy was just too brilliant.
Watching old tennant episodes after smith is like a breath of fresh air after being held underwater.

I will say I do not watch much Doctor Who. But... most of the Tennant episodes I've seen with that red haired woman were written terribly. Look out, aliens have put poison carburetors in all the cars; they're singing a song; red haired lady is the messiah. I mean, it's just... it's just terrible. No actor could redeem such storylines.

The only doctor-who-related-show I have legitimately enjoyed was the Children of Earth series of Torchwood. So that's, what, a week out of several decades of production. Hope it was worth it.

I've gotta say that was a really good series.

My issue with Torchwood is all the sex scenes they try to include, it comes off like they're trying to be edgy; but it isn't.

Yes. Note I didn't mention any of the other seasons; that is why.

I kindof liked the crossover arc between torchwood and drwho that was disseminated along several episodes of both shows, also that epic torchwood end of season where you learn that mmphfmmphf has been mmhhpfmmhpf for thousands years.
Also liked the zombified guy.
But yeah, way too much affirmative action sex. also, the main girl is annoying.

Best who episode : Blink

New episode was cool, a little over the top but that's what I've come to expect. Good stuff.
