Couldn't agree more.  Some slick art skills you have there!!

I'd be up for coding it in Flash, it's up to you.

I'm sure with that many assets (game content and art skills) you won't find it hard to find a keen and willing programmer who you'd find it easier to work with.

Good luck

 :D

Hey if you are interested in the project please link me to some samples of your work, especially stuff that relates to sidescrolling beatemups. You can PM me if you'd like.

I did start a vs style beat em up a few years ago, but felt I got stuck on drawing the characters.  I'll pm Super Mech Fighter Turbo across anyway (all you can do is jump and move left and right as far as I can remember).

Made some decent progress with the movement and combat, we'll probably have a really solid prototype in another week.

In other news were adding a sort of shop inbetween levels. Basically what happens is as you are going to the next level a crazy pig comes up to you and regurgitates items for your bravery.

The dash and gore attack is way overpowered. I can do infinites with it, and do it over and over and kill anything in my path. There was no reason for me to use any other attacks because that attack by itself was killing anything in my way.

You might want to fix that. Maybe put a delay in between the attack or make it so that falling enemies can't get hit by it.

I agree with you there. I was thinking of adding more frames to the dash attack and then maybe make it so you can't hit enemies when they are on the floor? or maybe the get pushed back so you can only hit them a couple of times before they get pushed out of range...
