The goal is to give these games exposure outside the TIGS community. Venus Patrol offered resources to help me automate the process a bit more and to have the feature run every Friday right before the week-end break. Also, Derek mentioned the Magazine might be overkill on the front page, since the blog is not updated very often. I guess we wouldn't want the blog to be flooded with mostly this.

We could always add more issue icons in the sidebar though, maybe keep 1 or 2 at a time, what do you think?

the sidebar icon is too small, and I think this deserves a place on the frontpage

They could make one page and just update that from time to time, though not bumping it up, perhaps bringing it back every so often (x number of months, for example) to look at the images.

great roundup once again - its a shame that the venus patrol issue # numbers are not correlating with the Tigs ones, well not a shame, just a bit odd.

Recommend: Change TIGS volume numbers while it's still early on and easy to do. I would suggest volume #s "-1" and "0." Wink

I would have thought that with all the money that they got, vesnupatrol.com could have researched their own material rather than plundering the TIGsource forums, oh but doesn't matter. Any exposure is good exposure for the devs anyway.

I did! I thought this needed a wider exposure since you guys have such awesome games on the devlogs. Also I'm spending a good 3-5 hours on this every week so I wanted to spend this time only if it was worth the effort numbers-wise. Venus Patrol is perfect for this feature, it reaches the right audience and is watched by most of the mainstream gaming journalists.
