With permission of creator Joe Lasko, I gladly (re-)present:

Totally Tiny Arcade!

TTA is a game where you play as Joystick Johnny, a hotshot in pursuit of the Video Virus throughout an arcade. You do this by playing through 3 sets of 4 games each (first two sets gives you a choice of five to play, with one player "hogging" one of the machines each time). You have 12 minutes to complete the 12 games, and every mistake costs you 10 seconds and resets your bonus streak. When the timer ends, you're on your "last life," and can continue so long as you don't mess up any more, but your time bonus will be Zilch!

Each of the minigames has it's own easter-eggy "TREASURE" to it as well, and if you dig around inside the program itself, you'll see they're very neatly scripted and concise, and pretty well-designed, and have a great sense of nostalgic humor about them. I'm totally surprised it's not at least reaching "cult hit" status yet; if nothing else for how smooth and well-polished it is.

Put TIGSOURCE as your leaderboard, and see how you stack up! There's a couple beasts out there, from way back when it was in DevLogs/Announcements.
