Hmm... I called the video shallow earlier, but I believe you missed the only 'deep' thing about it: I don't think Bob is having a conversation with any exec. He is having a conversation with himself.

So that exec does not represent an exec but instead of part of Bob himself, some nagging thought in his mind that he ought to dress and act professionally so that people take him seriously?

I actually want to play it and would be willing to pay some money for doing so. I doubt I would have heard about his game if he wasn't doing this outrageous promotion. If you look at his replies to comments on his Youtube videos. He do not seem all that insane actually.

It's easy enough to sound insane, I always knew his whole charade on his site was a joke / viral marketing campaign, however his IDEAS are still wrong. You can't expect a publisher to sell you a top-secret dev kit just because your game is "innovative and original and will sell millions". He definitely has an ego to him that is brought out through his comments and exaggerated through his site. |

Easiest way to tell that he is definitely full of himself:
Even in the video of that VA Cutscene THING, he still kept comments like "EVERYOOONE WILL LOOOOVE IIIIT IIIIT'S PEEEEERRRRRFEEEEECT", and the fact that the guy was asking for data was not EVIL. They really need to know how to market it, or else it won't sell. Marketing it to old ladies wouldn't work.

yeah, he's totally an asshole :D also from the technical side his game is very meh, so the only thing that can save it would be a very good storyline plus some interesting gameplay mechanic, but he never showed anything that wasn't like the parts that everyone hates about jrpgs, like long stupid dialogues and a "quest" about searching a pair of batteries around the house... |

i don't think so, like, at all. I think he ended up with this strange story only in recent times, after nintendo gave him a kick in the arse and after that period closed in his room, so i'm going to think that he's actually remaking the game plot or adding new content to change the story |
