Hey there my name is Keith, I'm an independent game developer. My company Binary Takeover has been making indie games for over 3 years now. We are about to release our next project into the wild, and we want your Feedback!

Lost Marbles is a puzzle platformer where you control 3 drastically different marbles. Each marble has a different material and special power; Rubber can Jump, Paper can Shrink, and Metal can Boost. The goal is to use each of the marbles strengths and weaknesses to help them reach the goal. These attributes lead to very interesting puzzles, for example if a large fan is blocking the paper marbles path you'll need the metal marble to block the stream of wind.

We are huge fans of both Lost Vikings (SNES) and Marble Madness(NES) we loved the idea of having 3 always active characters that solved puzzles in tandem. We really wanted to bring this style of game into 3D but we quickly saw how confusing all of the different elements could be. The idea was to greatly simplify the game rules into something anyone would be instantly familiar with. The game is still very challenging so don't be fooled by the cute graphics and atmosphere.

This is our second commercial game as a studio and would greatly appreciate any feedback! Thank you!

There will be a demo in the next day or two. We just want to add Xbox controller support beforehand. I'll make sure to post here when the demo is ready Smiley

Looks good!  I'm a fan of Marble Madness and Lost Vikings as well, so I'll follow this project.  Having ties to Lost Vikings, I would assume that you're going to be doing some control switching between marbles.  Any co-op multiplayer in this game?

Great question Smiley. The game starts out with just normal one marble levels, but after teaching you each unique material we start to introduce 2 and 3 marble levels. You'll have to swap between them in real time in order to solve any puzzles in your way.

Currently we have no plans for co-op since it might break some of the puzzle designs. We will have leader-boards for each level so you'll be encouraged to compete for the fastest time. Some levels will also have multiple ways to beat them so finding the quickest way to the goal will be important.
