Thanks for the post. Maybe teaming up with another programmer would help? You obviously have no difficulties with the fantastic art!! :0

Thanks so much ;_;

Yeah I'd love to get another programmer on the team! If anyone is interested in helping me with programming, let me know?

In the meantime, I'll just leave these concept arts here:

Those concepts look great! The use of colour is very nice!
I know you are going for 3d environments but I would just love to play a game that looked like your concepts. And since you are drawing the concepts from an isometric grid base, it wouldn't be too much work at all to actually make the concepts playable. Also that concept style feels a bit more unique than the low poly 3d. But that is just my opinion.
Either way I am really looking forward to more updates! Keep it up! great stuff!

I wish I wasn't so busy! Guess I'll just have to watch the game being made then.

(Although I gotta admit that "detangling the shitty code I'd written before" doesn't sound too enticing for a fellow programmer :P)

I agree, why not use those artworks in an isometric style? It's already a great hand drawn style. Smiley

I've got to add to the chorus that those concept screens should be the in-game art.
But if you are going to use 3D don't use any sterile 3D lighting, do every thing in lovely painted textures.

Yeah, that concept art is amazing, it wasn't done justice in the conversion to 3D, maybe you can try painting your textures in that style instead! Or changing your game to 2D isometric and using that art as is Smiley
