After feedbacks collected I made some changes on the game.
Here you can try the new version which includes:
- Changed tutorial to make it more useful - Changed key mapping - Removed bonus multiplier string which is now represented as unicorn sweat.

I took me down a couple of those evil angry unicorns. And it was good. Just needs more angry angry unicorns, that maybe jump, and dodge, etc.

Okay guys, development is going at full speed and we expect to finish the game on time, but I just realized that our game is w/o sound  Is anyone willing to help us with sound? I think we just need a background loop and some fx like player being hit, unicorn being hit with one of the two different weapons and some winner/lose sound effect.. If someone is interested please reply to this post or contact me with a PM. Thank you

Implemented level selection menu with skill upgade. Yeah folks, in this game you'll have to collect unicorn's rainbow-shaped blood to upgrade your character skills. As you can see in the following screenshot there are 3 skills (Attack, Speed, Life) with 3 level for every skill. Only "few" things left: - New unicorns (4 left, the yellow one is not yet implemented) - Find a proper name for the game - Refine weapon spawn logic

I love how the item system turned out. Earlier version I tried there didn't seem to be a game in there, but now you really have to watch when to pick up the swords and when to keep going with the capes.
Good fun. Hope you get the sounds going in time.

@Kaoseater Thank you! @DeepQantas Before reaching this stage we worked hard and literally rewritten several time the gameplay. As usual, links are in the first post  Ehmm.. One more thing... we got sounds! (Actually they need some polishing... but, you know, the deadline...)

I see the game has progressed a lot! I love the new art pieces, the background had to be remade but the new one kicks ass. Fun fact: In Spanish, "corrida" means both "bullfighting", and "cumshot". Eh eh... true.

Very nice presentation. I liked the difficulty progression, especially how tight the later fights felt when you had your speed maxed out. I also liked how the weapons became so crucial to survival, and the decisions that came from it. Do I pick up the high-yield banderillas at the expense of my cozy stock of capes? Hmm...

As usual when it involves reflexes, I'm really bad at it (stuck with the fourth unicorn). Is there a bull unicorn ? I would LOVE a bullicorn!

Unfortunately there's no bullicorn :D it was just an initial art concept. About the fact you were stuck with the fourth unicorn, have you tried to upgrade the torero skills by grinding some of the weaker unicorns?
