Next meetup: Wednesday 8th May, 6:30pm, at The Post Office Vaults in Birmingham.Midlands Indies is a casual pub meetup for indie devs in the West Midlands / Warwickshire area of England. Nothing serious, just a good excuse for a few drinks whether you have something to show off or not. Everyone is welcome. We meet up on the second Wednesday of each month, alternating between Inspire in Coventry and The Post Office Vaults in Birmingham. Dates are posted to this Google Group, if you want an email reminder.
We use the twitter hashtag #midlandsindies.

Starting a new topic because Ishi left us for Brighton...  Last meetup of the year will be in Coventry on Wednesday 12th of December. As usual, at Inspire. I'm also organising a meetup for Ludum Dare. Post in this thread or email me if you're interested in coming along! It'll be on Warwick campus, in room H0.01 in the Humanities building. Will try to get to Coventry on Weds... missed the last couple due to being ill, haven't been to one since well before I released Skyriders... still not really recovered though, still coughing pretty badly Shame the Ludum Dare is so close to xmas, I've already got other plans for that weekend... will have to make it a new years resolution to actually do at least one LD48 next year! |

RAWR! Hey all, Dave here from Leamington based Monster and Monster! We'll both be in attendance at the GameCity Nights thing tomorrow and at least one of us is going to try and turn up at Inspire next week because they do nice beer...oh...I mean because we've heard you're all lovely people and we should come and get to know you  P.S. I'm also the guy currently in talks with Warwick Castle to host an overnight game jam there sometime in the summer aka Castle Jam (veeeeery early stages though). |

Shall do squire! Not sure exactly 'what' is going down at GameCity Nights in Brum as unlike previous nights they've not really announced anything about the evening but hopefully it will still be a good ole evening full of lovely devs and gamers |
