Desiderata: I've been doing pixel art for about 4 and a half years now. Honestly the best way to learn is to be completely self taught, this one of the only ways to learn your own unique style. Tips from other pixel artists can be very helpful, but I wouldn't recommend looking for a bunch of tutorials. Just pixel fairly frequently (almost every day) and remember that with everything you work on, it'll always start looking awful and eventually will look fantastic  Smiley

This is looking incredible! I'm loving the art style!

I'm also a big fan of SotN... and the idea of being able to explore that kind of world, while also including the randomly generated aspects of a roguelike is literally making me shake with delight in anticipation.

So I've been really quiet lately, mostly because I've been working like a maniac getting the game ready for GDC on Tuesday. If any of you guys are coming, please stop by and see us at the Play area - Kiosk #7. In regards to the momentous occasion, we've had the first official trailer cut for the game.





Lastly, we've announced we're launching a Kickstarter campaign in early April to fund the remainder of the game. Up until now, I've been working off funds earned from the previous games, but they're just about depleted. In order for this thing to keep going, me to eat, and our artists to get paid, we need to secure funding very soon. Hopefully people will like what we've done, and I can keep living this dream :D

Love the trailer!

Small critique: the gypsy wagon-house has some weird perspective stuff going on. Cover up the top and bottom halves alternately to see what I mean.
