Also, this has been nagging me for a while. Is this the same group of people that made the unfair platformer? It's a flash game that seems to have similar graphics to that.

Nope, not us (unless Krypt has been cheating on me behind my back). Definite similarity in sprite style, though, in having relativley smooth yet ridiculous animations coupled without enough transitions to make them effective. We've mostly made games based in the Verge and Sphere engines that are relativley unknown outside of their respective communities up to this point.

Ah, nice to have the creator here. Do you know how long it will be before all the games are publicly released? I'd register at such-and-such forum, but I don't really feel like it.

I thought I liked this game, until guesst told me my reasons for liking it were wrong. Apparently, I'm a slave to internet memes, and if I weren't I'd see this game for the hollow corpse of a sham it is. Odd, I hadn't even realized that unicorns were a meme. Anyway, I must thank you deeply guesst; I almost made the grave mistake of enjoying something that wasn't good enough. Thank god that's over, now I can rest easily in my soulless and empty depression, satisfied that nothing will ever be worthy enough of my attention to rouse me. It will be most relaxing.

This is why I think TIGS must begin on an epic path of domination and allow prestigious indies (like Cactus and Nifflas) to have their own sub-forums here instead of whole forums on their own sites.  Then we'd all be under one roof and wouldn't have to got to those creators' sites just to see what they're up to.  Nifflas has even said (on his forum) that his ideal was just to have a forum about his games that wasn't run by him, and that he could visit and comment on from time to time.

Really, someone should suggest this to Derek; it would give TIGS a lot of prestige.  Not to mention how awesome it would be to have Cactus around more and Nifflas around at all (I don't even think he has an account here).

I've created a thread about this suggestion because it's been bugging me for awhile:

Pretty much in the dark as anyone else on this. I understand they intend to launch the system to sell games on the 360 sometime during the holidays and to announce the winners of the contest in October, but how the two tie together is a mystery (whether they'd want to delay games to meet higher standards or add further content or not- I know last year's winners had free versions up for a week at some point and some have been in development afterwards to polish them up, probably in time for this year's launch).

I don't know, does it offend you? I found the artist's detailed explanations of his reasoning and the process of creating it quite interesting.

Whatever... I'll add a caveat.

Did that furry have a giant stalk of celery sticking out of it's ass?  I don't understand what I'm seeing.

On second thought, I don't want to understand.

Don't worry about it...I never take a link on the internet without expecting something like that...I should just stop taking them; definitely my fault for clicking.
