Starting this morning, I realized I need to make more games. I've been stewing in unmade games, so I told myself to make ONE TERRIBLE GAME EACH DAY until the end of the year (there are ten days but I'm giving myself one chance to mess up, therefore NINE GAMES).

Excited! I can't wait to see what kind of shit I make! Please feel free to join me by making games instead of relaxing throughout your holiday season!



December 21st

unfinished first try (use your mouse)

GAME #1: TRASH -- bag all the trash.

CONCLUSION:

Game over, man! EAT DIRT was initiated on December 26th; that's about all that happened. I started something too big on December 27th and abandoned it. All days afterward: nothing interesting happened x)

beat it. liked it. One criticism I would give is that a couple of the next to last levels felt too easy, like you were out of gas and had ended up just strewing some of the thingies around randomly before deciding to finally just end it. It would probably work better as a whole if you clipped those, that way it just sort of gets a little harder each time then bam, the end. would have a better flow

Yeah, you're right! They were really just me messing around w/ levels. This is by no means a game I'd call complete x) I should spend a bit more time to make the level order feel right, at least.

Well then I'm going to beat one terrible game every day until the end of the year. Unless you don't make them all "beatable". Then I will be sad.

Also level 3 was the hardest.

had a perfect day.

might have to take my one fail-buffer day today, this early in the game.

and I won't have internet to submit tomorrow! or the 24th, so updates are gonna be slow for a bit. but then there'll be like three games all at once, so.

Nah, that's for when I'm no longer on a roll. In a week+two days I'll have up to nine "hey, neat concept"s. That's when I'll stop making too many games and make nine full games :3

I liked the trash game concept, seems simple enough that it doesn't need anything more.  Although there certianly could be more stuff to add to it ..
