Simple 2d platformer game to showcase Polycode's 2d editor. Something like a Flashback/Metroid thing. Crashlanding in a steamy alien jungle. The usual Latest video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knG9pzBzITo&feature=youtu.be

I'm really liking the way this looks, and Polycode's looking awesome, as well. Really would like to give it a try. Very nice work!

I personally think the old pixel one version is better than this one. That pixeled artstyle was pretty nice, and the pixel-art gives the game a very special atmosphere that I think it´s lost in this new one (allthough it´s also looks good). Imho .

Art is well done but I think this art style is pretty generic, So I prefer for the pixel art version because the style has more unique feeling and it is more athomsperic.

That looks super lovely, both the actual game AND the editor. And man, I love that running animation

My brain can't comprehend the smoother, almost vector parts of the background and the pixelly bits being in the same image.
