Very very good graphics and cool plot folks. However I must say that somehow I'm kinda not a huge fan of the soundtrack so far. It's too aggressive and way too chiptune and arcad-ish for this game. For other games it'd be fine somehow here it doesn't match with the universe that the video and the graphics presuppose. Keep on the good work though!

@ ephoete
Thanks for your feedback. I decided to use a fast paced rythym because the game is full of action.
@eigenbom Thanks by the way i have ready the easter egg we discussed before.

@ansimuz ah cool, yes the Easter egg, haha. I haven't played this for probably a year, but I'll play it again when it's completely finished!

Sharing some progress while polishing the overworld art tiles for Elliot Quest. I am using Photoshop which in my personal experience in the lsat year has been the best to tool to work with pixel art.

I am glad you liked it.
Remember the alpha/beta is not polished on gameplay inn fact it may be a little dull. Final releases is great in gameplay wise.

Gosh I love how this game is shaping up, I've been watching this one for a while (and big kudos for the Zelda II nod - such an underrated entry in the series). The overworld map and desert level looks stunning. This one's a legend in the making, keep up the good work!

Last months update: - I have added new mechanics and enemies after playing a lot of megaman. I am putting good use of the powers acquired during your quest. - I have redesigned the puzzles and added new ones. - Retouched pixel art for enemies and backgrounds - Put my wife to play as a beta tester a lot. with this new feedback i fixed a lot of issues and re-designed most the levels. - Distribute in a logic order the power ups for hearts and magic - Now the Armor and weapon can be upgraded at the armor shop for a few coins.
