Elliot Quest is an adventure / exploration Zelda style game. Defeat all 4 Elements Guardians and acquire their powers. Explore Urule Island in search for treasures and artifacts, earn money and experience by defeating enemies.

Main Features
Well balanced gameplay, easy to pick up, challenging to master
Open world to explore. Go and finish the game directly or explore to complete the 100%
8 Bosses and 8 minibosses all unique
Different magic attacks for different enemies, Not all enemies have the same weakness or resistances
Make bonus drop rate chains by defeating enemies wisely on time
Level Up System, build your character according to your play preferences
Karma System. You get a different final depending on your actions
Special areas only accesible by acquiring hidden crystals
Shops and townsfolk around the world will help you
Minimap system for all areas (as in metroid), never get lost again
Fight Notorious monsters and get special rewards
Puzzles, hidden paths and easter eggs

I 've been working for the game mechanics for a few weeks and now i can show how the player moves, shoots, jumps and change the weapon. There are 2  active enemies a snake and a skeleton also i included the checkpoint.

Entrance to the forest temple, just as in Adventures of Link, Zelda 2 was one of my favs in the series contrary to the general opinion. So expect a lot of Zelda 2 in this game.

I made this gif using quicktime and then converting it to gif with Gif Brewery if you now a better way please tell me cause i am not happy with the quality.

I have finished my first boss.. well a sub boss in fact. Additionally to the Stage bosses for each stage ther would be a sub boss.

The bossfight looks neat so far. I think what is missing though is some feedback that you actually hit the guy.
The small blobs are fine with their "puff" death, but the boss itself shows no reaction and the arrow disappears before even reaching him which feels wrong to me. Some kind of hit effect would be in order i think Smiley
