Why hello there!

I'll admit, I can't say I've approached this challenge totally seriously. Why? I was reminded of.. A certain moment, from my youth. It may be the most terrifying shock I'll ever experience.

https://soundcloud.com/eveellis/approach-with-caution-1

This is more of a "tribute", to a certain Piano, in Super Mario 64.

I've had a thing for swing and fadeouts recently

SPACE PIRATE
https://soundcloud.com/bleakprospects/space-pirate

Just started with a vamp and added weird stuff. Have fun.

EDIT: Forgot the bullshit. Um, you're like, a pirate. But in space. And you're collecting your loot when you get chased by the space police. Yeah something like that.

I also made this (unfinished) entry a couple of night ago, but I kind of ran away with it and lost focus:

Warning: This song uses the sound of phone interference and a phone ringing.  It's only a part of the song Smiley

I just listened to this. I think it's really really awesome except for the synth at the beginning (and it comes in later as well) just replace that with something more like the main lead and you're golden!

Thanks a lot!  Regarding the intro section, I actually played around with different sounds and wasn't totally satisfied with it myself.  Now that I have a second opinion, I'll see if I can't play around with it some more before the deadline.  Maybe some live electric guitar would work well with that melody.  Stay tuned...

Imagine getting a phone call from the future. It could be a mission. It could be a warning. One thing's for sure: what follows is a frantic shift.

Relinked my original post to a new version of the song that uses a relaxed piano melody in the verse.  Works a bit better to emphasize the shift to frantic.

A last-minute-entry! It didn't end up to be very good as I started it today from literally nothing.

http://soundcloud.com/redapricorn/a-not-so-frantic-shift/s-f30Is

Sooo.... the track features 'Normal Section' (00:01 - 00:20), 'Transition' (00:20 - 00:30), and two different 'difficulty levels' (00:32 - 01:14 and 1:36 - 2:18).

Just to clarify things Tongue

I've got something in the works right now, but I'm not sure that I'll finish it in time.  I'm not asking for an extension, I'll try to get it in before you call it, but if I don't get it in time, I'll still post it up here.

Either way, great entries so far.  I look forward to seeing all the feedback and doing the voting.

Mine & Zack Parrish's collab entry:
https://soundcloud.com/zack-parrish/awww-what-a-cute-bunn-oh-my

I think the title says it all. Our collab was split between at the point of the frantic shift! ENJOY!

Just in time..., no... I don't mean Justin Bieber Time.... *gag*

Justin Bieber has been famous for, almost 3 years? The jokes weren't funny to begin with, they're certainly not funny now. Discrimination against Bieber, 3 years on, is as pointless as cussing at a rock. He's one of many teen-boy-idols that come and go, it's been going on for decades.. Get over it.

*can't stand Bieber jokes anymore*

Sorry, I had to get out and run some errands.  It's about 8:30 my time right now... I'm shooting for midnight to have something worth showing.  If that is after you intend on ending the challenge, that's fine.  I won't lose any sleep over it.
