Secret of Mana and The Game is Wizard, the latter is utterly fantastic and I urge anyone who hasn't to try it, while the former is just me enjoying my childhood over again.

jilloff It's awesome, and so hard sometimes. Pisses me off when pressing the jump button doesn't always work IN A GAME WHERE ALL YOU DO IS JUMP AND EVERY JUMP CAN MEAN YOUR UTTER DEATH.

YOU DIRTY BASTARD!!! Sorry, I'm just that envious! And it doesn't help that my little brother has been playing it back home too. Once I actually have time to play one, I think I'll be picking up a PS3. It's funny, a year ago I completely berated the PSP and PS3, but this spring I caved and bought a PSP for Wipeout Pulse (I'm a former F-Zero junkie who's given up on Nintendo ever making a new one) and a few other games and have been generally impressed with it. My little brother bought a PS3 a couple months later, and I've been fairly impressed with what I've seen there too. In terms of what I've been playing, some MM9, re-visiting some of Kenta Cho's glorious shmups, and I've been trying to trick my mind into thinking my insanely demanding architecture studio course is actually an elaborate game, and that I should "play" it to win. Regrettably, this attempt at delusion isn't going so well, and all the monotonous labor and late nights (sometimes all nights) are really getting to me.

Last night I got really drunk, and today I woke up to see a Wii hooked up to my TV.
But seriously, all I've been playing is the occasional game made by the awesome people in these forums, and some Sonic 2 in the toilet, thanks to my DS.

...Sonic 2 in the toilet...
The only true way of playing a portable game. A gentleman's way.

Kirby Super Star Ultra. It was either that or Sonic Chronicles, and I wasn't so sure about that. 'Course, then I checked the newest issue of EGM and they gave it game of the month. Grumble Grumble. Still, Kirby is, and will continue to be, fun. Certainly a refreshing break from YMM
