Monsters can be generic... It's not glaringly generic or anything like that. What I mean to get across is that it doesn't need to be changed because of that.

Nice edit, Geti. Super sweet.

I love the painted style you have for these. Do you have any tutorials for who you do your artwork? Smiley

Thank you all! I'll make some tutorials soon, I'll try to break down the process. Smiley

For now, here are some old monsters I already posted up on Pixeljoint and probably here but are still relevant.

Thanks Smiley Love you to

That's what I have for the base, it's nothing impressive yet but it's a start. Also, generally, the light source appears at top so it makes it easy to flip the image, but I will work around that a bit and make it less lazy.

unrelated - How much do forums make if they allow google to hyperlink an ad whenever you type work ?

Looking good for a start, I guess if you don't want to do the multi-biome thing you could just do one base per biome.

No idea re: ads, but the rule of thumb with advertisement is "you don't make nearly enough from it to make it worth your time and customer malcontent unless you have a massive audience".

Thanks! Yea, I shall consider the multi-layers it shouldn't be too bad and it'll definitely add to it. Smiley

This is old but I touched it up a bit, could still use some work but it's fine for now as finished.

and some revisions on Grim

Not sure if I like the bottom half or not. Hm

Both look good!

Not 100% sure about the outline around the tentacle on the first and the scythe blade on the second - looks a bit flat like that?

I like the bottom half of grim, but I think it could be a little longer.

Thank you, I shall fix those sometime. More to come when I find time. Sorry for not updating this as often as I should.

For Grim's bottom I would stick with a torn cloak. The bubbly thing you've got going on is... awkward? Doesn't read quite right in my opinion. The sprite is much improved otherwise. Also, I was fond of the less menacing facial expression in the first image.
