You really have a good humor, it would be nice to see this game launched, but I think you're making footsteps in a circle, I mean.. do the game with what you know you can finish the game, don't go adventuring and posting weird 3D things.
Just saying. By the way I laughed a lot with the screenshots in this thread, it really looks fun to play.
We'll see. I recommend you to stay with 2D with this game, and if you want to make something in 3D just try out Unity, I'm currently using it and it's "simple" to use.

Yeah, the 3D was a flunk. I was just experimenting really. I'm sticking with 2D, don't worry! I'm rewriting it as of now.

No idea what they're talking about, but might consider writing a LWJGL engine so I can do something like this:
