LightEnt: that looks great! Is this a mobile game then, with the mouse controls and all? I'd love to see a 2d platformer with Infinity Blade/Fruit Ninja-like combat. Fire and wind look really nice too.

It's just traditional PC + gamepad support, no mouse usage. I was just testing effects lol

It looks weird because the legs don't cross over.

In real life legs cross over when walking.

It's not just that; it's like the character's limping.

His arms are moving the same direction as his legs on that side. Usually, when the left leg is forward, that arm is back, which means his right leg is back and his right arm is forward.

His left leg (on the left side of the image) doesn't "strike" like the right one does. It just comes under him and compresses, while the other leg does this long outward strike (which is correct).

When his right leg comes "back", it compresses again and touches the ground, when it should be tucked, swinging forward.

It's a cute sprite, though.

Looks great migrafael. For awesome 1, I wouldn't change a thing. For awesome 2 though, I feel like you could change the body to reflect the anticipation before the spikes come out, and to indicate the transition phase vs settling phase. Imagine if when the mouth opened and the fangs showed, the holes squeezed up on the body, and then the spikes shoot out and the holes are still more scrunched around them, so it's a bit like the skin is putting pressure on them or the holes are pursed, and when the spikes finish their motion then the pursing goes away. Right now the body just feels a little flat compared to all the other animation.

Great stuff though!
