Let me guess: palette raster effect in that last one? (that "2014" seriously need to use one of the other two colors though)

Looks sweet!

Have you actually been writing gameboy roms? The effects are pretty neat either way Smiley

Giant Clock Puzzle!
When the puzzle is complete, it cracks open as seen on the right, revealing the memento. You can see the WIP door opening below. To see the actual clock puzzle itself: http://i.imgur.com/9m0IBqt.png

Restraint, the Hellhound
He is like a boo from Super Mario. Looks away when you look at it.

Switch for Puzzles
When off, its in pieces in the air. When one, it comes together and tightens.

Really slick "glitch". Maybe you should keep it in!

Yup, that's correct.

Yeah, it runs on the gameboy.

Really slick "glitch". Maybe you should keep it in!

I most def want to use it for something. Haven't figured out what yet.

Hog with machine gun

The treadmill made me laugh. Nice touch. I like the coconut palms in the background too, with the lighting toward the top and the leaves in the background.

But for some reason the stones that make up the floating island don't read quite right to me. I think the lighting isn't consistent or something. It looks like you flipped tiles horizontally, so they're always shadowed toward the outside of the island rather than all lit from the same direction. And maybe more shadow toward the bottom of each stone? I dunno. Maybe I'm way off base. But my first reaction is that they don't feel like they have shape and weight, somehow.

Decided to jump in the Nesjam for my 1GAM challenge.
This is Tiny Plumber, a game about... huh... a plumber tiny enough to enter sinks.
Totally original setting, right?

EDIT: changed the gif to an updated build; I'm like 10 hours into this jam I think, for reference.

Idk if this type of stuff is worth doing. Some times I like it, other times it feels like overkill. Thoughts? (The sprite pieces after destroying enemy objects)

the red stuff would look better if it sprayed in the direction of the slice.
