My idea was a game where you threw balls at aliens, but the ball had physics. Not uber innovative either.

Here's the link actually: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=7102

Ha, aliens, too. Roll Eyes

I already found the game by searching your nickname in the LD32 entries. I'll have to play it again tomorrow, i got stuck in a level because i destroyed a ball with a door, somehow. WTF But it's pretty fun. I'd never be able to finish a game for LD in time.

Excellent way to spice up those static characters with that tween :D
And the backdrop has a real dungeon-y atmosphere to it.

This guy is a real pain in the ass to deal with.

And some more.

I'm not sure how I feel about the screen-corruption effect, honestly; on the one hand, it looks cool and works as a neat "the level is now over" effect. On the other hand, I'm a bit worried players will interpret it as "oh, my screen is screwing up, I guess I'm not supposed to do that."

It looks very alive, but i would prefer if it would kick the ball with his head instead of hands, for example by diving. Smiley

i created a first monster, it's a very dangerous green alien/squid? thing. Waaagh!

Accidentally recorded at only 10 fps.

@ProgramGamer: I like that association! Smiley

How many idle animations do you plan to create and how many of those are finished?

--

Wrote a simple followMe script (ringbuffer) in Unity. Obvious next step: create a dragon. Roll Eyes
