It took me a minute of staring at this screenshot to see what was going on with the environment. I think the color of the building walls was throwing me off since it's almost the same color as the abyss below, making me think that they were a pit in the ground at first. That aside this still looks gorgeous, I'm especially drawn to the greenery up on the top of the image. keep up the good work

I think the color of the building walls was throwing me off since it's almost the same color as the abyss below, making me think that they were a pit in the ground at first. I pretty much agree.

It all looks amazing!  But, there seems to be a lot going on in all of the screenshots.

Watching the videos definitely gets me excited to see the rest of the game though!

After watching the video the game makes a lot more sense. I was unaware that the moving platforms had that floating animation to make them really stand out. Which is why I think some of my earlier criticisms had come up.

It's definitely a game that you need to see in motion to get. It looks great in motion though.

It's definitely a game that you need to see in motion to get. It looks great in motion though.

Yes, motion solves a lot of problems that I have not fixed yet. :D Anyway, thanks for the good word, glad you liked this video.

I think the way enemies explode into blood particles doesn't really match the style of the rest of the game. I'm not sure if it's just the blood color being a bit too saturated. But I tend to think that it's rather the inherent level of violence that mismatches the feel of the rest of the game. The overall graphics style is going for a rather "cute" theme (small characters with large heads) and so I think a "cuter" way for enemies to disappear would be more consistent.

What do you think?

This is not first time that I hear about this. According to my idea, at some point this cute fairy tale starts turn into a nightmare. And perhaps I should add blood and gibs during this turning point - to make it clear to player that the fairy tale is ended.

This looks incredible.  I hate to draw comparisons, but I mean it as nothing but praise when I say the first thing I thought looking at that screen was Capy's Below.
