All I know is that's what Terry used to make super hexagon.

Sounds crazy though, it's like some uber library that binds together tons of other libraries.


EDIT: Also why does it need to include OpenAL, PortAudio & FMOD in the same library? Isn't that overkill?

The only reason I know of it is because of Terry Cavanagh's Super Hexagon port.
It's a framework for "creative code" - it has a REALLY WEIRD folder structure and contains like 6 different graphics libraries. I don't really see the point of it...

I think it's because of its cross-platform approach, it chooses the best lib for the target platform..?

I like how easy it is to setup and get code working, you literally just unpack the download somewhere, run the project generator to make your project, then load the solution and run.

Anyone actively posting used it?
