When you start browsing it says showing 1000 games but it cuts off at 140 and there's a lot of doubles. Either way I'm stocking up on games I dont see the time to play for years to come! That's what it's all about ain't it?

I have most of those already. If only they gave back the price difference so I could treat myself to a pair of fabulous shoes.

Any recommendations? I have very little money, I already bought kr0, and I like good games.

it's funny that you made something as simple as asking for recommendations sound passive aggressive and shitty

has anyone played kentucky route 0? how long is the first episode? i really like the visual style, but $18 (let alone $25) is a lot to throw down for a game, and if it's just a short art-game or something i'd be kinda disappointed to pay that much for it. (especially since itll be in a humble bumble sooner or later.) nobody else seems to have played it so i havent really heard much about it

Because Humble Weekly Sale perhaps? I presume it would include a Steam key.

Bastion shows up in the daily deal often enough. Wait a few months and you can get it for cheap.
The frequency of steam sales for indie titles has kind of dulled my excitement for any particular sale. I used to snap up games when they hit the daily deal, now I just buy games when I've almost finished everything I have because I know a sale is only a few months away. I've started thinking of non-sale prices as just taxes on impatience, which seems cynical in retrospect.

That's not much of a bundle if it is just one game + some merchandise. And why do they keep bundling things I already have? Meh.

kr0 is basically the definition of all style no substance, it's a puzzle free adventure game. That said, if you're into magical realism and minimalist art (i am!) then check out their demo/technical test thing and see if you think you would pay $18 dollars for a few hours of that. The first episode is very short, maybe 30 minutes. I dug it.

I liked KR0, but I pre-ordered it at a discount a while ago. There's really not much to the gameplay, but I like the soundtrack, visual aesthetic and mood it's going for. It reminds me of a Murakami novel.
I recommend people pick up Lone Survivor and Hotline Miami if they don't have them already.

it's the best adventure game in ages. great storytelling, excellent visual and audio wizardry, and probably the best magical realist anything since one hundred years of solitude (which the game derives inspiration from). it's relatively easy, as someone mentioned, but the focus is more on great atmosphere and writing so... btw that $18 is for all the acts, just like buying the sam and max season stuff

yea but 5 30 minute episodes = a 3 hour game for $18, and it's an indie game so itll be in a bumble humble
