Here's a 'Wurstsemmel' just to help you guys get used to my new style:

https://soundcloud.com/dev-zoo/wurstsemmel-seite-b

Still practicing blues but I'm trying to get away from static digital productions. Going for trashy but organic ruff and real music.

This was recorded and mixed and arranged with an OP-1 and an ukulele that I've fed through an virtual amp.

I've not posted here before, but here are the latest stuff i've put on my sound cloud

https://soundcloud.com/lyndonholland/the-great-outdoors

I wrote a ton of waltz's last year for a short animation. I decided to upload a couple that are essentially outtakes from that film

https://soundcloud.com/lyndonholland/winter-waltz

https://soundcloud.com/lyndonholland/a-waltz-of-memories

ignore the terrible titles

This was the final score. The waltz starts part way through and is an arrangement of Harrold Kittler's Waltz Expectation with a homage to Swan Lake (the film is about the demise of imperial Russia)

Greetings.

I enjoy writing synth-centric retro tunes that feature guitar using Reason and Caustic.

Melodic, Ambient, Pop with elements of Jazz.

Nice tune, i like the bell sound. What tools/synths did you use?
I think the pumping created by the Kickdrum is a bit to pronounced. Though I know, one gets used to that very quickly.

Here is my latest work:
Klick Me

I created it using cubase, and mostly free VSTIs TForce alpha, DSK KeyZ and ChoirZ, as well as NI Massive for some special Effect sounds.

Best,

I made it in FL Studio using NI Massive for the supersaw and the included samples for most everything else (with lots of processing of course).

Here's two more stupid things I did trying to learn more with GoatTracker

So far I haven't really done too much complex stuff with the software itself, but I'm glad I'm starting to change some of my general writing habits finally. Hopefully I'll start taking advantage of more stuff in GT soon, cause there seems to be an awful lot of neat functions!

About time I did something. I've decided not to get obsessed with quality and polish so much anymore, it was driving me crazy and led to me not putting out much music at all. So there.

@Saj - Cool stuff. I think you should try mixing it up with some more samples (like from KiArchive) and different effects, like you mentioned. Percussion would help a ton, as well.

@Narasu - Dang, this is awesome. Great mood and flow to it.

@Boreal - Great work on Chronophilia. Good chords and overall mood.

Made something other than outright synthwave, for a change. Inspired mostly by the Wipeout games.

I'd like some criticism on a chiptune:

Usually don't make music that's intended for video games, I'd love to hear what people think.  Wink

This is pure retro coolness man! Cool

Also really enjoyed your synth demos, that D-50. Ooph, does it sound funky or what.

It's called "A Confession in Three Parts" for Piano, Violin, and Percussion.

Some Cyberpunk-ish stuff I'm currently working on:

Just two tracks at the moment but I'll be uploading some more in that style in the coming weeks. Would love to hear people's thoughts.
