oh my god you were the one behind the sakura games fuck they have cute music from what i've seen of the steam train play of sakura spirit, so good...job? No idea what that is... This Sakura is some project that fell into my lap about a month ago. interesting! curious about how you managed that one. the sakura games are really low rent terrible vns with bad dialogue and somewhat decent art that gets repeated over and over. i guess sakura fantasy must be the third? there are two more, and i only know there was one besides sakura spirit because it was on the steam "what's new" slideshow thing. apparently they make money, somehow, but they are Abysmal. ripe for decent lets plays in the right hands, though; i've never seen an lp of the second but i'd expect it'd be just as worthy of a laugh anyway your music is good and much better than that game is worth

I hadn't worked directly with him at that point but through a third party so he got my contact information from said third party recently.

No doubt everybody round these parts is no stranger to NES-style music! https://soundcloud.com/clarkaboud/chipman-viiHere's a track I wrote a while back, after picking up the lovely Plogue Chipsounds. Came across it the other day, I forgot to share it back then, but here it is now!

There's a lot of promising stuff between this. What you really should be working on is your dynamics. You got you melody-work going pretty well, but you need to put in a lot more control in volume. Everything is pretty much at the same volume which makes things sound pretty overwhelming. You're much better off using contrasts and sustaining certain moods in sections of the song rather than being full-on all the time. Quiet time is pretty important in music.

OK, I've got two pieces to show you guys. One is an orchestral cover of the Half life 2 piece "Triage at Dawn". https://soundcloud.com/jbellstudios/triage-at-dawn-orchestral-finalI'm having trouble getting a more "epic" feel to it. The mix doesn't really feel rich to me. Any advice? Here's my other track. I work for a stock music library for television and I we were commissioned to right chiptune music. Here's one that I made. http://licenselab.com/track/console-mythosIs this something that could fit well into a video game or is it not the right type of chiptune music? Thanks! Jeremy

Hearing some incredible work here guys, awesome stuff keep it coming!! I recently uploaded a track I did for the the soon to be released Light Spirte by Nialltl, were it's your goal to get as high as you can by jumping off various moving stars while at the same time trying to avoid any blackholes or spacemines that may get in your way! https://soundcloud.com/meremonkey/light-spirteWould love to hear what you guys think!
