@MichaelElmquist

Anamolie I was captivating, you have a way with your use of ostinatos. Anamolie II was also very nice Smiley
Like my dark ambience, would love to collab, but I am not a programmer. Music's fine tho!  Coffee

Well, I'm posting this NIER inspired track, that's Royalty-Free.  Gentleman

Here's a small note on part of the soundtrack that I made for the surreal game called D.S.A which was released today. There are download links for both game and soundtrack.

Hi, I figured I'd join to share some of my work. Probably the biggest game I've worked on is Super Smash Flash 2, but that's mostly re-arrangements, so musically it's a little restrictive, other than our theme.

My proudest music work has been a game I worked on as a Student Showcase game for DePaul University named Mack vs Windows (was the game that followed the now critically acclaimed Octodad). I wanted to have a repeated theme in the game, though I joined the project a little late.
Mack vs Windows:

And as far as Smash Flash goes, the song I'm probably happiest of (that's original) is our Battlefield theme. I co-arranged it with another developer, did all the instrumentation, and handled the final mix as well.

@Audiosprite
That ape song was Noice! Very Crash Bandicoot!  Gentleman

@WladM
Nice melody and style, my only point of crit would be to adjust the velocity to bring out the upward and downward glissandos.
Other than that great orchestration! :D

Here's my latest track, it's BDSM and 80s hardstyle techno/house/dance inspired.
Enjoy!  Cool

Since I've been mostly lurking around DevLogs, I decided to look around the forums a bit more and found this.. so let's show what I've made and would like to make!

First off, my soundcloud and bandcamp. I use soundcloud for stuff that is finished enough to be published (aka. has an ending, more on that in a bit), and bandcamp for music I end up putting up for sale Smiley

I've started off making music with MilkyTracker (a music tracker), and I've made music with it since 2006 or so. It produces a nice and compact format called .xm, and allows for quite nifty stuff when used in games (like multiple start positions, loops and whatnot in a single file, muting/soloing channels, etc.), so most of the stuff I've made with it doesn't really render out as more traditional formats very well.. It does need some additional programming and library-usage, but works rather well when done well!

The newer stuff in my soundcloud is made with Renoise, a tracker too, but a newer and more 'up-to-date' one. To my knowledge there's no players for its files, so I'll render them out to .wav & stuff when I need to publish them. It's an equally "nice" program to use as MilkyTracker, even more with experience in these kinds of programs :D

I'm more than happy to post links to my MilkyTracker-stuff, but those aren't anywhere to be conveniently browsed, so you'll have to ask P:

I haven't made music to any games that would be online (or that I could find now), but I have made music for small projects I've been in otherwise.

My usual genres are jazzy, bluesy, technoy, trancey and well, chippy, but I'm up for trying out anything else too!

@Pyramid Kid
Sounds pretty swaggy like for a 16bit detective game. Like the melody and bass, they roll nicely with each other. Instrument choices were very well placed. Everything compliments everything. The ambience is nice and spacious leaving room for the atmosphere and melody to dance. I'd say you and your friend did a fantastic job. Perhaps in the future, try to incorporate more countermelodies and ones that change in pitch throughout the song, or go for a broken melody feel. Again, nice work!  Evil

Here's a new track I made, it's Sei Mutsuki inspired Grin
