The newer stuff in my soundcloud is made with Renoise, a tracker too, but a newer and more 'up-to-date' one. To my knowledge there's no players for its files, so I'll render them out to .wav & stuff when I need to publish them. It's an equally "nice" program to use as MilkyTracker, even more with experience in these kinds of programs :D
Renoise is quite powerful. I alternate between renoise and nuendo myself depending on the project. Keep up with the renoise experimentation. - something I did for a top10 iOS title using renoise.

@groovyone Sounds really good and looks pretty interesting. I've never used any tracker before but you convinced me to give it a try. Any decent free alternatives? Here's small footage frome the polish game event called Poznań Game Arena where during the last weekend I showcased game called Angry John together with the rest of Low Poly Wolf team . Track in the background is unpublished yet part of AJ's soundtrack. More info about Angry John and newsletter can be found here: http://angryjohngame.com/

Renoise is probably the best one out there, and its demo version is exactly like the full one, only you can't render your stuff out to .wav (and some technical limitations, like, no rewire host or ASIO on windows and that..) I made my album with the demo version, sent the files to a friend who had the full version so I got them rendered :D Oh, and renoise isn't expensive, so if you happen to like it, it's not hard to buy a license. If I remember right, it's $60 or something around that. Definitely the cheapest (if not only) tracker-daw out there P:

Just analog synths, filters and a lot of chopping.

I've got a pretty varied style, generally sticking to chiptune style composition with a few classical scores and a couple of more contemporary tracks. Please check out my work and let me know what you all think, I thrive on constructive criticism! Gimme all your pointers and knowledge and experience! https://soundcloud.com/zigauche

Hi :], finished this track on the weekend. It wrote this during a personal music writing challenge (write 60sec of music in 4hours or less). I tried to blend a wild west feel with a hip hop wibe in this one (clichés ). https://soundcloud.com/michaelklier/once-upon-a-time

Very nice! Picturing a pretty badass 80's escape scene here. I had a really annoying tune in my head, so I made it into something which I thought sounded SNES-era but probably sounds like poorly-recalled SNES-era https://soundcloud.com/klabelkholosh/mountain-village-vendor
