This is very cool! I love the sliding melody notes and the dissonances are nice! What are you using for your sounds?

I'm using pxtone; the instrument is just a square wave, and for the sliding notes I'm using Portamento :3

Just recorded a new track last night. It was 2am and I was bored. Most the stuff of this myspace page is kinda folky. I'd love some feedback. http://www.myspace.com/sugarbeardAlso here's some stuff from my band. Electro poppy-ness. We had the good fortune of being interview by CBC Radio One here in Canada just this last week. We tend to play shows monthly, and in a couple weeks we're heading to the studio to record our first full release. http://www.myspace.com/bearclaps

Sugarbeard: Awesome . Not the kind of stuff I usually hear on Tigsource. Reminds me of Nick Drake.

Thanks man! I don't listen to a lot of house in my, erm... house :D but I live in the Mediterranean so whenever I go to a beach bar that what I hear. So in my mind it's summer music and I tend to write a couple of house tracks every spring/summer.

Wrote this recently for Polymaniacs (same client as before). I'm just posting it here because I'd like feedback. Figure it can't hurt anything. http://rogerlevy.net/mp3/rogermark-3d_is_just_a_fad.mp3Yes, since the game is 3D the title of this song is ironic ...

I enjoyed that, rogerlevy. Like a lot of your music seems to be, it was very upbeat and catchy, and I like that. Great job. Since I'm here I might as well post something else of mine: http://thrompd.mindstagecc.com/music/Mllog.mp3 (it's very quiet and slow in the beginning)

Thanks Mr. Yes, well, I *can* make dark, slow music. It just seems to be that I've been putting out more upbeat music than anything lately.
Also, I like that song, but I like it when it gets going, the intro, I dunno...

rogerlevy, I like the second song much more than the first one. The first had too much weird sounds/stuff and was more, say... annoying. Like a test of never-used samples... Honestly, the second one is much more harmonic. It sounds like game background, feels just right. Mostly due to instruments and volume, sounds smoother.

Thanks! I don't really like the intro either; for some reason it seemed neat to me at the time.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I see what you mean. I think it's one of those oddball song ideas with a really narrow margin for success, and I just narrowly missed. Because *I* hear a good song, but I can see how it doesn't have enough "pleasing" stuff to balance out the "weird" stuff. Need to practice more.

Oh man, that is so awesome! I just busted out three quick tracks for Worst Robot as the game kind of intrigued me with its assaults on my intellect. I'll probably revisit one or two of them for some minor changes. Here they are: Awkward BotLonely RobotWalking FailureWe decided to go with a mixture of real instruments and chiptune type goodness. The goal was to make the tracks awkward and pathetic sounding. Fun was had!
