Here is a song for the mouse platformer I want to make one of these days... Near the end it gets pretty WIP, but the beginning is pretty much finalized.

Also an arrangement of my favorite songs from Earthbound. Too much glock I think, but I'm probably not going to work on it anymore!

Really great sound for a water world as title says   SmileyHand Thumbs Up Right.
Too bad it is cut off right after some nice tension building Tongue

I found a classical guitar at Goodwill for $12. Some new strings and replacement tuners later and I love this thing Grin Here's my first recording with it:

Been a while since I've posted at TIGSource. Anyway, I've just made available on my site all my old ambient/electronica that I wrote in the early 2000's under the name Pamplemousse. Feel free to give it a listen and download here:

http://www.moopf.com/article/78

There's about 7 hours worth there. Getting back into writing some new music for an iPad project I'm working on (an interactive book for kids) and so took this opportunity to dig out all my old stuff to take a listen to.

Comments welcome, or just enjoy.

Your music has gotten so good, man. I just want to sit around and listen to it all day. I showed some of it to bort recently and he said it reminded him of Masashi Hamauzu too.

I think of all the indie game composers out there, you're the best.

@Paint by Numbers: First off, you've done a good job of capturing the sad mood you want. My first crit would be on the background noise, which I suspect is rain. Maybe it sounds a little too "hard" for rain, and you could try making it softer. As it is now it actually distracts a little from the music, though just a little. As for the sadness: you do this nicely as I said, but maybe you could lower the tempo a little to have less "tension/anger"? The same could be said about making the way you strike the piano keys be softer, and let the sounds of the keys remain just a teensy bit longer ("longer decay"?). This is just a suggestion though, an idea to try.

Thanks for the help! I'll fix this stuff soon.

Here is a song that is not done by me, but rather by a friend of mine. I really love it.

hey thanks everybody(Especially chef)! I appreciate the generous compliment. If you and bort guys ever want to make a vidcon, I'd be glad to help... Masashi Hamauzu rules just incase someone didn't know.

Also, thank you Bander. The song isn't finished, but stay tuned for the next version! Though, technically the level it would be used for isn't a water world, but it does involve water. Kind of. I mean, after all, there is always a small amount of water vapor in the air, so it does involve h2o. If Tokinsom decides to assist me with making the game, you'll see.

A fire planet theme I composed for a "shmup" game I'm working on. (In quotes because it's not exactly a pure shmup...more on that whenever I get enough done to start a DevLog.)

Also an arrangement of my favorite songs from Earthbound. Too much glock I think, but I'm probably not going to work on it anymore!

Holy shit dude this is glorious. Twoson was always my favorite town theme from EB and you really did it justice.

Whipped up this quick of the TAL-Elek7ro (which I think is free, at least I did) and this patch that I programmed seems so video game-ish, what do you guys think?

A song DID come out of this, but it wasn't quite this.

Well, this is my first ever post here.  I would love to make music for games but until then I just do it on my own for fun.  This is an EP I just finished.  I used 1 program on a crappy laptop.

I've been in and out of bands for years, more recently I was the drummer for a band called "Another Black Day" (Bieler Bros. Records) which unfortunately died much too soon.  Anyways, check it out and if anyone has any feedback or suggestions on getting my foot in the door to make music for games I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!

Sounds nice.  Reminds me somewhat of The Sunken Cathedral by Debussy.

Finished an album earlier this year, aimed at producing a soundtrack (it's all available for licensing).
