Hi all, really digging the music in this thread. Here's something of my own: http://soundcloud.com/icefishing/iiKind of dark ambient sort of stuff, it's all my own recordings except for the cello sample. Always thinking of games when I make music these days so this is sort of aimed at a kind of sci-fi noir or horror atmosphere I guess.

This is my first song with FL Studio: http://soundcloud.com/isaacwagner/test-2I haven't made much music at all before, so I would greatly appreciate critique and/or advice. I feel like there's something missing from my song that more "complete" tunes have, but I can't figure out what it is. Also, does anyone have any advice on making a good beat? Mine always end up feeling too busy and chaotic.

Always thinking of games when I make music these days so this is sort of aimed at a kind of sci-fi noir or horror atmosphere I guess. This is very very very well produced, I like it a-lot. I make drone and ambient often myself, but my style doesn't incorporate industrial. Nonetheless I love it a-lot, the production style and and mixing reminding me of Endura. These are good, catchy! Keep up the work! There's always that first song. I like this a lot though, it reminds me of .XM or SNES and N64 MIDI music. I used to want to start a low-grade sample music scene, sort of the next historical step from 8-bit, because I loved that music so much. The strings over the drums at the end reminded me the most of that. Here's a lil' ambient/drone piece I made. It's watery. (thus the title). Feedback please? http://www.mediafire.com/?swbb8o366wc87df

u suk, stopp maken muzic. loljkgtfodgaf SRSLY. I enjoyed the chiptunes better. I think you pwn at the chiptunes. Hardcore. This other shit is good, but the chiptunes are based as fuck. And the SNES thing was ill as well, I love using SNES soundfonts to make music. You should make more chiptune, and compile it into a big compilation of chiptune, and call it, "A compilation of chiptune", then submit it to Def Jam. Feel me? Aight bro.

I made a way slower song than I ever have successfully and it ended up pretty damn long, too. Then I compressed it to mp3 and now it has funny artifacts so I should re-upload it at some point.
