The Echo of a Hero song was fantastic! I love it, this kind of stuff is right up my ally. So is Humanity rose above the world. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of rpg is this going to be for? I love the sound of this, very beautiful. And Meckz, I quite like it. It has that vibrant, hi-fidelity tracker sound I've never really been able to acheive myself. Good job! Seagaia, sounds really nice no matter what you use it for! but I think it sounds like an ethereal forest- dark, kind of gloomy, but not in a sinister way. Dark and gloomy is a mystical, magical way. Speaking of music, here's a song, has kind of a deep meaning to me. besides making music, I've found that composing the best way for me to capture and guage my feelings about something or in a moment in time. This is one them there type of songs.

Somber Warmth - Emotional keys piece I composed back in 2010. I originally did it in FL Studio using Directwave's Sine Keys patch, which I loved, but back then I didn't know how to get it clear/loud enough. This version was done with a mix of FM and Suitcase electric pianos in Pro Tools, and I think it came out sounding pretty good. I'd still like to go back and try the sine keys version again though, as that's my real vision for this song. It's deeper sounding, and you really FEEL the notes. I've been listening to some people's work in this thread, really cool stuff going on. Thought I'd toss in a couple of pieces from an old project. Echo of a HeroThis is really nice! Very professional-sounding. It's been too long since I checked out your sounds; these are both very interesting to listen to. Gotta remember to check your page on SC more often.

http://soundcloud.com/postpre/trappar-wavesI've been watching Eureka Seven AO and got inspired, so this beat is what I think it would feel like to surf through the sky on the visible light spectrum. I'm really happy with how it came out.

I dig the whole vibe of it quite a bit. The bass drum could use a lil EQ enhancement, though, I feel like it could use some sub bass.

@seagaia - it's too short to kind of predict one way or the other, but I'd have to go with "cliff-y" as it feels kind of elevated.
@swordofkings128 - haha didn't think it was gonna change the way it did half way through. I think they're nice as two pieces of music, since nothing really connects one to the other. The first half feels like nice subtleness to a scene like in a game or anime, the second half is pretty atmospheric - reminds me of Phantasy Star or Star Ocean.
I can't really say what game my music is for...yet. The project has kind of come to a halt and probably will cancel so I'm thinking of just releasing the soundtrack anyway.
@Drakken - Somber Warmth, very pleasant. There was a comment I kind of agreed with, a slight amount of tempo automation could make it feel a little more human. I've never used Directwave's Sine Keys but this song could benefit from a warmer sample. Little nit picks though, nice tune.
