Those monster sprites are coming along nice.
S'cool you've started this streaming lark, always wanted to give it a try myself actually.

I managed to catch the stream exactly as it ended! I'll get lucky eventually

@seagaia
Oh boy. I would LOVE to have some of your tunes in this game. I loved the music in Anodyne. The art style is not totally finalized, but you can probably get a decent idea of where it's going. I'm not quite ready to add music yet, but if you're interested we can definitely talk more later.

okay yeah! I could try to do a few tracks and see what happens.

Those walls will need a front on them if you're going with that tilted view I think. Mebee move them up a pixel so they look solid. Just a personal preference mind.

Super nice!

Do you have bigger versions of one to give us an idea of how you made such great art? Smiley

Always so impressed seeing any new art you make.

Loving those monster sprites, although do think the green, red and grey skull faced characters could use a little bit more distinguishment like the other groups seem to have.

@st33d
What do you mean exactly?

The shadow off the walls works well to make them pop out. But not so well on the top left hand side of the wall. I think if the walls were offset a pixel or two upwards it would make it clear that you've got a wall next to you because it would overlap you a teeny bit.

But I'm probably biased because that's exactly what I went for in Turnament:

So it's likely it's just my personal preference.

When looking at your last ingame shot something rubs me wrong concerning the size relations. The pawns look so large, compared to the wall tiles surrounding them.
Also, do you intend to allow clicking / hovering over units with the mouse to do action sor get information about them? Because if yes, having the units overlap may cause interaction issues.
