Just a thought, a simple one at that, but you should close off a thread or mark it [DONE] when the thread has served its purpose, I was just looking through all the work you guys have been doing and it's rather incredible, I sometimes forget that. Should hold better focus for you all if you make it apparent that you have decreased the workload each time that you do successfully!

I know that's mind numbingly simple, but I can't see it being done so I was hoping to suggest it as friendly advice. It works for me when I'm working through a soundtrack list or SFX list.

Good idea, I always did that when doing spritefests.

Also, since 'flitting to the side' aniamtion will be done using purely Hot Soup particle effects, I feel the sprite slot in the OP should be taken off the list, lest someone accidentally go and waste effort on it.

There still needs to be a flitting animation. Otherwise, he'll just be sliding past with his idle animation.

On the first page it says we need a wall clinging sprite - is Trilby supposed to cling to walls? Just wondering since I don't remember him doing that in his own games.

He could cling to ceilings, but I don't think that'd be a very useful skill here... Giggle

Hmmmm, about the new sprite. It fixed the hands and the end of the umbrella, but it introduced a new problem. The umbrella is moving up and down weirdly, it looks like he's rolling it around instead of angling it side-to-side behind his head.

Also, I'm really nitpicking now, but the outline on his front elbow is fixed mostly but it's too sharp right at the tip in some frames. Remove the final pixel at the edge to round it a bit, maybe?

Sorry, I don't want it to seem like I'm ungrateful for your brilliant work...

I always took it as he was holding it with BOTH of his hands, but you can't see the other one. But now you have me seeing yours...  Cheesy

no you can see the elbow of his back arm.

uhm will we need to edit it for the other direction? (i.e the umbrella will be the other way round)
