I was expecting you to use one of the ideas that had your name in it.

I'd have a lot of choices then, yes, but this gave me a bunch of ideas.

Progress report: Source contains 876 words, 4 rooms, and 9 things so far. Progress is steady (well, it's the first day, but hey.).

It seemed interesting, but oh, how wrong I was... This kinda makes it sound like the game is just walking around in an utterly dull museum exhibit, where nothing ever happens. Perhaps you ultimately die of old age or something. I'd say getting replaced by an ancient mummy would be a pretty interesting experience. Horrifying, yes, but still interesting.

I guess you're right about that. Luckily, it's not an image and is still changeable In other news: I have about 2500 words jotted down now. This is going well!

I need someone who's experienced with playing IF to test for me. To look for 'queer' stuff, and such. PM me?

Nothing in the premise mandates that the PC be the visitor who is replaced... this could always be a whodunnit... spot the switcheroo'd Mummy before it strikes again (and takes a new body)...

... No, the PC does switch with the mummy You should get to control the mummy thereafter, and watch as the mummy gradually becomes aware, to its own horror, that it is being controlled by some outside force (namely, the player :D )

No, he just physically switches places with the mummy. I've gotten way too far to have that in the game now.

UPDATE: The game is now winnable! :D As in, there's a "yay you won" screen, that you can get to, but that doesn't mean I am done. Source is now 4000 words

int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { printf("Yay, you won!\n"); return 0; /* return code indicates that you won */ }

When Winning begins: end the game in victory. It's inform, not C
